It was a cold winter day when BikeBrewers took the trip to pay a visit to the digs of UNIKAT Motorworks. It had been a visit which was long overdue. We have been writing about Grzegorz Korczak and his team of highly skilled professionals for many years and each time he has managed to surprise us with incredible gems that rolled out of their workshop. It was a long ride to get there from the, but fortunately there was no heavy snow in Poland at the time, which made for a long but comfortable ride. Grzegroz was already waiting for us with a nice cup of coffee and local pastries, but we were in for a bigger treat.

The big one Well no, it’s not a coincidence that this bike has been photographed in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). And maybe yes, it might be a cliche. As the bike is a cross between modern and classic, we thought it would be cool to match the background, so here it is. [...]

Some time ago we received a care package from Rusty Stitches. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name, we suggest you start reading this first. The now Dutch band of misfits is working hard to make a name for themselves in the custom and urban motorcycle riding gear [...]

Ready. Set. SCRAM! I had some time, I just wanted to ride. No frills, no haste, no frustration. And then I got the email. ‘We still have the Scram for you to ride and review if you like?’ And that was it. As you can imagine, this isn’t a powerhouse. It [...]

Okay, let's start by answer some burning questions. Yes, it's electric. Yes, you miss sound and vibration. Yes, you miss shifting gears and the feeling of being directly connected by the clutch. And yes, you have to get used to it. But no: it is not the end of the world!

Gear Up! When it comes to motorcycle gear, we have a pretty good idea of what works, and what doesn’t. It really helps that our entire editorial team are petrol-heads of the highest order. This also means that we test out gear to the absolute limit. But sometimes, you want something [...]

From the Czech Republic with love We told you to remember his name back in November! At the time we published a post on his BMW K100RT and warned you that Marcel Galuszka would be back with more. Well, here he is. In just a couple of months he has yet [...]

Superlative To top off three consecutive weeks of riding big (or should I say GIANT?) bikes I was offered the opportunity to test the 2021 Triumph Rocket 3R for a full seven days. And what a week it turned out to be! The prelude to this week was composed by the [...]

Dressed to stay alive We all have our preferences when it comes to dressing up for a ride. What you wear depends on a variety of parameters dictating the outcome. ‘Full on’ motorcycle gear will serve the best protection against weather conditions and when gravitational forces cause you to involuntarily part [...]

When I was 18 years old, many many years ago, I saw a Honda CB350F outside a club in Amsterdam. It looked dirty, had chrome wire spoked wheels, a little café racer seat, clubman style handle bar, no mirrors or indicators, no fenders, and a single gauge which was the tachometer. [...]

We’re gonna be honest, we are a sucker for lists. More specifically, end-of-the-year-top-5-motorcycle lists! It’s one of those things that we never can seem to get enough of. Whether you’re sitting with your friends or family, or on the workfloor with your colleagues, top 5 lists always add flavour to the [...]

Gotta catch them all! ‘Tis the season to be merry. It is nearly Christmas and Triumph Motorcycles have decided to convince us that we need to add another present to our wish list. To the very top of that list that is. It was a present that has been long awaited [...]
