We know that café racers were invented in the United Kingdom. What most people don’t know is that the Japanese gave it their own twist. Much like the café racer, a brat-style motorcycle is a stripped-down version of a standard motorcycle. They are meant to look low and mean. The name brat-style comes from a workshop in Tokyo, Japan. They built such unique motorcycles, that when the world got a taste for it, they named it brat-style. This is also one of the reasons why most brat-style motorcycles are built around Japanese motorcycles.
