Yet another scrambler this week! This bike is based on a Ducati Scrambler (no we won’t call it Scrambler Ducati…), and is more of a facelift than a real custom. Ducati has a clear vision on todays motorcycle market where everybody wants something unique and personal. So the Ducati Scrambler comes [...]

The Dutch team Moto Puro set themselves on the map about two years ago with the Ducati Elite II; a custom build café racer based on the 1199 Panigale (check it out here). At the end of 2015, Ducati started a worldwide challenge for Ducati dealers to build their own interpretation [...]

It’s not a typical café racer nor a street fighter, so Andreas Fougner from Eze Visuals called it a “Custom Café Fighter”. I think that is the name that comes closest to this superb design. It’s an aggressive looking naked bike, based on the legendary Ducati 916. Andreas is a professional 3D designer [...]

It are not only pure hardcore custom bike builders we see with great designs. Designing a motorcycle is much more seen as a form of art. Remember the cool CX500 Café Racer by Sacha Lakic? Pure art! Gessato is a small company that celebrates exceptional art, architecture, style and design and they’ve shown [...]

If I think of Switzerland, I think of banks, chocolate, purple cows and snowy mountains. Custom bikes are not in that list… But Andreas Fraefel of Motobene changed that list forever with this gorgeous Ducati Monster Café Racer. They designed this bike for a female customer and modified the whole ride: Custom gas [...]

The Swedish bike brewers of 6/5/4/ Motors have been working on this Ducati 860 GTS and turned it into a real vintage and sporty looking café racer. The Duc had the remarkable 90 degrees V-twin we still see on Ducati’s. Owner Johan Orrestedt found this Ducati in a barn, where it was slowly [...]

Looking for a daily ride that won’t break the bank—but still turns heads? Enter the QJMOTOR SRK 600, a Chinese-made naked bike that’s out to challenge the big boys. With Brembo brakes, Marzocchi forks, and 61 hp for under €7,500, it sounds like a bargain—but is it just another soulless commuter, or can it win over die-hard custom fans? We took it for a test ride through the city and into the twisties to find out. Spoiler: we were pleasantly surprised. In this review, we break down what makes the SRK tick, what you’ll love (and want to swap), and whether this budget brawler has what it takes to become your new favorite two-wheeled project. From design quirks to custom mod potential, this one might just make you rethink what a Chinese motorcycle can be.

Mooyong Zeus is the founder, owner, designer, builder and all-round nice guy of Zeus Customs in Bangkok, Thailand. I last met Mooyong during my visit before Covid – so I was mighty curious how he is doing now that the pandemic-storm has subsided a bit.

Populair request We have written about the venerable Yamaha XV a number of times in our recent posts and we can’t get enough of them. Not just because of the cool aesthetics the Japanese V-twins have, or the high desirability factor they possess. No ladies and gentlemen, we love the Yamaha [...]

We’ve been reporting a lot on Royal Enfield lately and that’s not a coincidence. The Indian manufacturer has kept the talks around the coffee corner fuelled for quite some time now.
