Suzuki Inazuma GW250 motorcycle variants have very few populations here Indonesia, so rarely seen on the streets. Especially Inazuma that has been totally custom like this may be the only one that exists.

It all started from the friendship of fellow custom motorcycle enthusiasts. David, the owner of this Inazuma, work in the same company with Ivan who both love and has a custom motorcycle. From Ivan who has just customized his bike, David gets an overflow of tires, wheels, and headlamp. Parts are apparently less suited to the model and size of custom motors being built by Ivan.

As the result, David also got windfall accepting the abundance of motor parts. David also still keep the stop lamp and the remaining turn lamp from the previous motor custom. The spare parts fitting already for the next motor custom….

Davidi mmediately contacted Wahyu, the owner of Diwa Creative Studio workshop Jakarta, Indonesia. David has long known Diwa for quite successfully working on David’s first custom motorcycle. Suited already, when contact Diwa in early January 2018, it turns out this bike in the first list that is ready for customers in the Year 2018.

Finally, Suzuki Inazuma GW250 motor brand new one year annihilated David was a “victim” to be customized. All because of the friendship blessing….

The Wheel & Tire

Inazuma originally used the monoshock leg structure with 17-inch alloy wheels and sport type tires. Because the concept of this motor change will be a classic tracker, then the legs changed using dual-purpose tires and alloy wheels size 18 inches are available, plus twin shock absorber using YSS tube size 360 mm.

The weight of Suzuki Inazuma GW250 reach 182 kg is the heaviest weight of the motor in the 250 cc class. So change the legs become the hardest job, because it is not easy to get the appropriate wheel drum. Diwa must think hard in the selection of wheel drum, because in addition to looking for similarities between bearings, as well as innate girps, drums must also be able to support the weight of this bike. As a result found solution by using the parts from Honda CB400 for rear wheel drum.

Body and Gastank

All motorbike body uninstalled and replaced with a custom body of galvanized. The gastank is made new by cannaling the old tank. The old tank is taken the bottom and the lid, in addition to not changing the seat also so that the gasoline buoy can still be used, so that the gasoline indicator on the speedometer panel still works and the original key can still be used to open the gasoline cap.

Selection of color selected according to vehicle registration to be more neat and remain orderly and safe traffic. In the motor tank there is a “flash” motif, in accordance with the meaning of Inazuma in Japanese. Complete safety fittings are all fully installed and functioning normally like brand new motorbike…!

Electricity

Not much change in the electrical lines of this bike, so that the congenital motor cable remains unused and not many cables that must be cut off. Replacement must be done on the headlamp, because the original headlamp model is too modern and sporty. Replaced with 7-inch Daymaker with a halo ring that functions like Day Running Light (DRL) same as the latest car sold today. “What a pretty headlamp…!”, said Diwa.

Offset the round headlights, brake lights were replaced that the model is round a pair as usual mounted on a Harley Sporter motorcycle. These brake lights are multifunctional, in addition to brake lights also function as a turn light signal.

The process of making this bike takes almost 4 (four) months. A long waiting time paid off with the results. Much different from the original appearance of the sport touring, now reborn as a classic tracker. Here is the result …, a custom motorbike from friendship blessing…
