The boys from Lucky Custom from Argentina sure know how to build a custom motorcycle. I’ve recently featured one of their latest builds, a slick CB550 Café Racer. Digging into their impressive list of creations, I’ve stumbled upon this great bike: a Honda VF750 Café Racer “Maximo #11”. I thought it was worth the share!
The Honda VF750 has a unique liquid cooled 748cc V4 engine with an amazing 86HP, so if you strip down the dry weight of almost 250kg, you sure have a great base bike for a café racer. Unfortunately we don’t see the Honda VF750 much in the custom motorcycle scene.
Lucky Customs is known for their thorough style: every single part has been taken care of, and no detail was left behind. A cool detail are the custom laced wheels.
The bike is full of high end and custom parts, it’s too bad I couldn’t find any specs or a list of modifications of the bike.
And for those who don’t like this bike, Lucky Custom added some other eye candy to distract the critical viewers 😉
PS. the model is Abby Tiss.
Hello there,
Very nice bike and background effects also.
I´ve also VF 750 45 C year 1982. All parts are painted and some I have ribb off and put some new or secondhand parts. Now I have looking for aircleaner cover which coming to top of carborators. There is one gumtube or band what is glueded. It´s coming between topcover of carborators and airfilterbox. Its very bad shape.
I also saw your solution of airfilters. Those four filter outside under tank. How you have placed those to end of carborators airbox. Normaly there is those chrome covers, did you desing covers by your self. Is it all like, topbox of carborators and aircleaner/filter box like normal but you changes only sidecovers and put filters outside, like decoration.
What year model is the frame? I use Benelli Mojave tank, I have to do huge job with that, coz frame under Magna own tank is so waid with those two frame line. I didnt find any tank what have so waid underside. So I cut away topcover of Magna tank and put benelli tank and placed that on. Hope it look good in the end.
Can you give me tips with those filters or do you have any pics how you have done it.
I have also new project, Yamaha Virago XV 750 1993 hope I get it done before autum. I have to be black, red and white, respects for Jarno Saarinen Flying Finn Parooni best racer ever in early -70´s. In few years he won all those 70´s legends, build bike by him self, pay all the cost by him self, with her wife Soile. That was life in a best ways. He is legend. Your bike colors combination remind me those colors what Yamaha used in 70´s. some lines also with gold.
If you have time to give me some info how you have done it, I´m very happy.
Regards
