The UK based bike brewers from Auto Fabrica like things clean and simple. So when building a cafe racer, they go down to the bare essentials. The design task for this Yamaha SR500 was also simple: create a one-off bike with a timeless appearance. The result is a slick and simple looking Yamaha SR500 cafe racer.
Modifications:
- Handcrafted gas tank
- Handcrafted exhausts
- Lowered front forks
- 325mm Marzocchi rear shocks
- Removed battery
- Renewed the wiring
- Custom seat and new upholstery
- Blasted en polished engine
- VM36 carburetor
I wonder how this bike would look with some cool laced wheels…!
