That the Honda CX500 is gaining popularity in the café racer scene is obvious. We see a lot of cool customized “poor mens Guzzi’s, these days. Check out this one, and this one, and this one. This creation is from Wrench ‘n Wheels, based in Portugal, and they call it “Wind 10”. Owner and founder Pedro had a dream building his own café racer bike some day. The mods on this ’84 Honda CX500 are extensive, here are some of the most catchy upgrades:
- ’07 GSXR1000 front
- Spoked wheels
- Custom seat and upholstery
- Custom swing arm for a new ZX9 rear wheel
- Firestone Deluxe wheels
- Motogadget clock and phone bracket
- Lamborghini (!) tractor headlight
- And a lot of cool details like the Biltwell Thruster grips
