SYM Wolf 150 Flat Tracker

If you’ve ever been to the far east you’ve probably mentioned that a lot of people are using scooters, mopeds and small motorcycles to move around in the city. Intersections are extremely crowded with small two-wheelers and the constant smell of exhaust gasses is pretty much seen as normal. Fanatics like me always check around to see what kind of machines are passing and there are a lot of brands we’ve never even seen in other parts of the world. That’s not for the Taiwanese SYM, they’ve spread their (big) wings all over the world, but still is a pretty small brand in the (what we call) western world.

So chances are that you’ve never heard of the SYM Wolf. Let me give it a small intro: it’s a small, cheap, lightweight bike for (how obvious) urban transportation. Since SYM produced countless Honda CB125’s in the past under Honda’s license, it’s no wonder that the Honda stood as an example for the Wolf. It’s powered by a 149cc single cylinder that pushes out around 15hp at 8500PRM. And let’s be honest; it’s a cheap ass rip-off…

But for the guys from 2Loud Customs from Taiwan, that was part of the challenge when building this beautiful looking Flat Tracker out of the SYM Wolf. There’s nothing much left of the original “urban transport bike” SYM aimed it to be, and that is a good thing.

Let’s face it: size doesn’t matter…
