VTR Customs from Switzerland is known for their great work on BMW’s and it seems that they have a slight preference for the already legendary R NineT (check out this cool R NineT Café Racer build by them). So to add a little variety in their builds they took another base bike. Since VTR Customs is a part of an official BMW dealership, they took another bike from this stable; the BMW R1200R.

Last month we had another BMW R1200R featured (check it out here), and we loved it, just because it’s not a typical bike in the custom scene. VTR took customizing to a whole new level with this BMW R1200R Café Racer / Streetfighter (or “Café Fighter” as you wish).

The inspiration for this bike came from the old Bentley racing cars from the 30’s and all custom body parts are shaped out of aluminum. The custom Kineo spoked wheels give this beauty a more classic look.

The BMW R1200R Café Racer is nominated for the ESSENZA Custom Bike Klasse 2016, which is held during the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016. To get even more attention, Sabine Holbrook will drive this beauty during several races on the festival (she also featured the photoshoot of the R NineT we’ve mentioned before). We would love to see this bike in action!
