Luis Bertelli, the owner of the Italian Luismoto has a strong relationship with the BMW R nineT. Right after the introduction of BMW retro machine, he saw the huge potential of this bike and create a range of custom versions. I’ve featured some of these bikes earlier: a beautiful BMW R nineT Scrambler in classic Marlboro trim and a cool scrambler inspired by the R80 G/S Dakar from the 80s. His last build is also inspired by the legendary GS: the R nineT “Legend”.

Starting from the front Luismoto has built a new front fender and a new dome that resume the lines of the R100GS but slimmed up, the front optical assembly was moved higher by making the front more impressive. new also these carbon fiber shredders, but the most notable thing is the new gas tank, which is always carbon fiber but of larger size just as they used the GSs for off-road raids that we all know. At the back, we notice the new saddle coated in genuine blue leather with the embroidered GS logo, close to the large luggage rack with attached passenger handles and fitted with load hooks. Nearly invisible, the new rear headlight, a LED headband that takes the forms of the saddle of the saddle and integrated in addition to the red position light, also has the stop light and direction indicators, all in just 20cm of high brightness LEDs.
