German brewer Schlachtwerk made a great version of this Yamaha TR1, also know as the XV1000 (Europe) and the slightly modified XV920 (US). They built this brutal bike last year. Not all specifications are published, because it’s been built for (drag)racing. One of their main goals was to reduce the weight of this heavyweight champion (over 220kg dry weight) and improve power (69hp).

Some specs found (and seen ;)):

  • Weight reduction to 158kg dry
  • Increased horsepower to 96hp
  • Engine bored to 1100cc
  • 40mm Dellorto carbs with open filters
  • Quickshifter
  • Yamaha R1 front end
  • Shorter rear shock
  • Custom exhaust
  • Custom frame
