If you say triple cylinder, you say Triumph. The English brand has a long history of three inline motorcycle engines and used it on a wide range of their bikes. I instantly fell in love with the Street Triple after I switched the ignition on. The triple engines are more popular than ever (think about the awesome Yamaha XSR900, MT-09 and the Agusta Brutale and F3. And if you’ve ever drove a triple you’ll get it: smooth and wide power range and lot’s of torque and plenty of horsepower.

The Triumph Thunderbird isn’t a sport bike, but a typical cruiser. But that doesn’t make it a bad base bike for a café racer: for example, the Kawasaki Vulcan S is also a cruiser, but Oficina MRS made a beautiful café racer of it. This Triumph Thunderbird café racer by Puzzle Garage (Rome, Italy) is another great example that cruiser can be transformed in a café racer.
